Wonderful Sweet Romance by Dinah McLeod

This was a lovely sweet romance. A strong alpha cowboy with old fashioned ideals and a sweet young lady on her own. Their feelings and emotions are are delved into and a well developed storyline make for a wonderful story. There is an abusive ex, romance, spanking and sweet sex. I received an Advanced Reader Copy for an honest review.

COLTON AND SCARLETT

I enjoyed this well-told story of two people, a 30-year old rodeo cowboy, Colton, and a 19-year old proud but down on her luck waitress, Scarlett. Colton has been in the rodeo scene for many years, he is a winner, but his life has never had that one special woman, just lots of warm-bodied-one-night stands. Scarlett is trying to just survive in the world, never knew her Dad, lost her Mom and is on her own after a break-up with a user-looser boyfriend, Wade. From the time Colton and Scarlett meet with a mishap at the rodeo, they are drawn together by a need or desire that allows his dominance and her submission to be explored. All of Scarlett’s life she has craved that special desire for the love and protection of a Daddy. Colton knows from her petite and pixie size she is different and his protective side comes out, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know when she needs correction. The chemistry between these two is explosive. The dialog and interaction are raw, emotional, edgy and honest. The punishments are all justly deserved and include spanking, humiliation, anal play, mouth soaping, and enema. The overall dynamics in this relationship requires honesty and respect. Colton proves to be Scarlett’s knight in shining armor, riding into her rescue and protecting her from the dragons of the world.
