About the Author Reba Saxon has been in the real estate industry for many years, first as the child of a Realtor® in Louisiana, then as an agent in Colorado in 1980 (when interest rates were 18%), but mostly in Texas since 2003. She served a 250+-agent real estate office in a management position and performed as a top producer there (but not at the same time). Additionally, Reba is a Certified Real Estate Instructor, a senior instructor on the faculty for the Texas Association of Realtors®, and has served on the Professional Development Committee at the state level since 2008. As a member of the Professional Standards Committee, she has participated in Ethics hearings between Realtors® and between Realtors® and consumers. She has achieved the following designations through education and personal production: ABR: Accredited Buyer Representative CDEI: Certified Distance Education Instructor CREI: Certified Real Estate Instructor CRS: Certified Residential Specialist EcoBroker EAH: Employer Assisted Housing/Home from Work GRI: Graduate, Realtor® Institute GREEN SFR: Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource SRES: Senior Real Estate Specialist TAHS: Texas Affordable Housing Specialist Reba teaches Legal Updates, Broker Responsibility, and Professional Standards courses as well as several of the designation classes above at Texas REALTOR® associations as well as courses she has authored: Agent Responsibility, Agent Investor, Agent Negotiator, Agent Assistant. I just got this book in today. I LOVE it! My highlighter is in overdrive. I have been in the business over six years and I learn something new everyday. This book has me learning more than I ever thought possible. I am actually going back to a contract I've been drafting and re-reading everything! Thank you Reba for being such a great instructor of agents and keeping me engaged in this book - you certainly write in the same style as you teach.
